Honda
launches City CNG or Compressed
Natural Gas (CNG) in
Thailand yesterday (09/12/2012)
and is positioned as the lowest variants and priced at 659,000 baht, or U.S. $ 203.3 million. Honda claims the City is a 1.5-liter i-VTECyang using
CNG. When
menggukan BBG,
City engine produces power 102 PS and a peak torque of 127 Nm. But when using gasoline,
120 PS and 145 Nm of torque
For safety, Honda
City complete with "Electronic Safety Control Box" and put special steel pipes to maintain vehicle stability.
Honda also ensure the quality of CNG converter with a three year warranty or 100,000
km.
Incessant
producers and consumers
switch to using CNG in Thailand because of the price of gasoline
more expensive. While
BBG produced by the country, sold at subsidized prices.
Today, not only CNG passenger cars use a lot, too heavy trucks or containers to carry goods.
